We’ve trawled the halls and scoured the web to find the best new mobile products from the show. Here’s our pick of the top five.
There was an almost searing inevitability to Samsung rolling out a range of ‘pro’ tablets at this year’s show.
With rumours flying about Apple’s own iPad Pro, of course Sammy wanted to be first to the punch.
While it also unleashed a slew of TabPRO models, the NotePRO is the most enticing.
As well as a super hi-res 12.2-inch display, it comes with 4G and some models will even use Samsung’s super speedy octacore processor.
Cisco’s WebEx comes preloaded for this who love a virtual meeting, while Evernote and Remote PC access are also on board.
The only big-time smartphone of CES promises to be one of of 2014’s finest.
Sony’s smaller edition of its superb Z1 is not a ‘mini’ version but a compact one.
What does that mean?
Well, the only key difference is the screen size, which is down to a more-than-ample 4.3-inches from the 5-inches of its older sibling.
Otherwise, the phone still has the same amazing 20.7-megapixel camera, eyeball-stroking display smarts and the latest Android software, not to mention access to Sony’s slew of stellar web services.
There’s no denying that the Kickstarter-funded Pebble remains the best smartwatch out there.
This new model offers a new metal wristband, with a Gorilla Glass screen backed up by new tricolour LED. Pebble is even offering free worldwide shipping.
Software-wise, everything remains the same, meaning impressive apps and easy use via your iOS or Android smartphone.
Asus loves a hybrid. This tablet-cum-laptop serves up the best of both worlds, offering an Android tablet that docks into a full-sized, Windows 8.1-powered laptop.
The idea is to offer users productivity and portability.
The result is a rather chunky affair, but we’re willing to let Asus off for showing commitment to the cause.
Other manufacturers wouldn’t dare make something so bold and this is perfect for those who don’t want just one device for work and play.
LG didn’t deliver a full-on smartwatch at this year’s CES.
But its Lifeband Touch almost does the job and is actually a better bet if you want to use your savvy timepiece for sports rather than simply looking flash.
It has a swipeable OLED display for seeing how many calories you’ve burned and what notifications are waiting for you on your smartphone.
Pair them with LG’s new Heart Rate Monitor earphones to get the full, fitness freak experience
